The eighth annual A Question of Brains event took place at Leicester Tigers on 8th October 2019 raising £77,218 for Steps. The event was hosted by BBC East Midlands Today presenter Anne Davies with the assistance of rugby stars Geordan Murphy and Matt Poole. The entertainment was provided by ITV’s The Voice Finalists singing duo Emily Burnett and Sophie Rowland – Belle Voci.
Auction Lots sold on the night included a signed framed print of Martin Johnson holding up the 2003 Rugby World Cup, a Drive & Stay break at Cosworth Park, a tour of the Caterpillar factory for six people, an exquisite pearl necklace, a 7-night holiday in Austria and a Luxury London day out in a chauffeur driven Bentley.
One lucky winner won a Mappin & Webb Diamond Necklace in the raffle and others won £500 to spend on Ladies Fashions and a huge cuddly bear!
